High Tides - Distant Skies

valerio80 This is clearly a late 70s NWOBHM album accidentally shelved for about 40+ years. Thin Lizzie-esque twin guitar melodies, a good array of tempos, couple of nods to AC/DC here and there, linear but never boring song structure, tasty AOR arrangements. Highly recommended to Heavy Rock/Early Metal lovers. Favorite track: Crimson Past.

Sterthanas Excellent feeling and tone! Favorite track: Give Me to the Night.

Lute FP 70s vocals reminding of Yes or Journey, sung against music that sounds like a hybrid of early speed metal and classic progressive rock. Whatever that leads one to think, you just gotta hear it to know. This is excellent.

BTW am I tripping, or is that the Golden Gate Bridge on the cover of a Swedish rock album?
