Sam Vokonis gets compared to Mastodon a lot. I get it but, honestly Vokonis is way better. This album proves that.

Taylor Higginbotham Absolutely beautiful album. Doom/stoner metal with proggy solos, this albums strongsuit, are at their best in Transitions. It's one of the best albums like this that I've heard all year. Favorite track: Transitions.

potaytoes I’ve always loved metal, but the past couple years I’ve absolutely fallen in love with stoner metal in particular. However, as a trans woman it’s been a bit of a difficult point- I don’t feel particularly represented, or fully at home, considering the usual demographic of bands. But seeing this album took that thorn away. Not only does it mean so much that way, but this album goes absolutely hard to top it all off. Thank you all 🩵🩷🤍 Favorite track: Pink Fang.

it's hard to decide what is my fave track on this stunner of a record! Technical prog metal wizardry, beautiful vocals & harmony, and even a little proggy funk vibe reminiscent of early 60s-70s English prog, coupled with emotional depth and a deep core message - it fires on a lot of cylinders. When I'm in the right space to listen to this record, it really benefits from a deep listen. Tour de force work, boys. jaxers
