An ongoing documentation of the Louisville music scene since 2017. Specializing in a focus on underground bands and DIY shows. Most videos are of a band's set captured in its entirety.
No Comply 502 (nocomply502.com) is the ultimate representation of "if you can dream it, do it" in Louisville's DIY music scene. With a focus on the unconventional (unorthodox spaces, pay what you can, etc) as well as collaboration with the city's skate community and graffiti artists, this group organizes an annual event at Dave Armstrong Extreme Park as well as satellite shows. #louisvillemusic #louisvillediy #undergroundmusic #louisvillemusicians #diymusic #livemusic #louisvillecreators #louisvilleky #kentuckymusic #louisvilleshows #senordiablo #502shows #502music #louisvillefilm #documentation #musicarchive #nocomply #skatebowl #diyvenue #diyconcert #skatepark #skateparkmusic #skateparkshow #musicscenesvideos #musicscene #nocomply502 #louisvilleskatepark
A collection of shows at DIY house venues in the Louisville area - logic for inclusion was the venue having enough shows and an impact on the local scene that the name for the space that arises invokes its own sense of culture (you hear the name and you "know" the place in terms of the types of shows it throws, as well as the location without having to ask). The majority on here no longer in existence, as house venues are short lived, often cut short when neighbors start complaining about noise and calling the police (or the collection of residents who lived there and started it just move on). Do you have a PA and a basement/living room/garage? You got a venue
A collection of performances taking place at various Spinelli's locations, beginning with the 5th and Jefferson location that served as the foundation for the current all-ages music scene boom in Louisville. Also featured are shows from Spinelli's Baxter (both the alley and the interior) and Spinelli's 4th Street (both the interior and back porch)
