SabbathJeff The Stone Eye write, record and play FUCKING AWESOME songs by The Stone Eye. Highly unique, supremely talented group of young people that always make me believe that the kids are alright anytime I get the chance to see them live. If you're a fan of never being riff-disappointed (a medical scourge, verified but treatable), you're a fan of The Stone Eye!

1.
Come dance in this house of thieves Do you like it? Would you believe it’s mine Prance in these halls of white Do you know me, wouldn’t you be surprised Come in time Feast for the lions den, couldn’t be mine Peddling lies To be devoured by a feral goodbye You say you want to take me out for a ride But you can’t even afford me tonight Why? Feelin’ like a drifter tonight Slow down when you got to let it go Hear me clearly, won’t you like to know? Where the others go, rest your eyes Weigh your smile, don’t you worry bout me Sinking walls collapse into a maze of empty thoughts Paranoia lies What’s not fair? Who’s to care, don’t you worry bout me Grandeur in the depths of lies Don’t you like it when it’s a mask you find Sung from a vase of wine A shallow story that seldom redeems itself Storming nights A darkness to ease the mind, wouldn’t it be nice Caught in lies Entangled without a line to cut and let fly You say you want to take me out for a ride But you can’t even afford me tonight Why? Feelin’ like a drifter tonight Slow down when you gotta let it go Hear me clearly, won’t you like to know? Where the others go, rest your eyes Weigh your smile, don’t you worry bout me Sinking walls collapse into a maze of empty thoughts Paranoia lies What’s not fair? Who’s to care, don’t you worry bout me It’s all pretend Right now it’s our revenge Let’s make a friend For now we’ll make amends It’s all pretend Right now it’s our revenge Let’s make a friend For now

about

Soaring high above the mighty Schuylkill River, the illustrious Philadelphia based rock band The Stone Eye continues on their quest to create the ultimate song, a quest that very well could take a lifetime. Sporting a four man line-up featuring singer/guitarist Stephen Burdick, guitarist Jonah Etsy, bassist Jacob Mathis, and drummer Jeremiah Bertin, this core four have recorded what may be the bands grooviest track to date- House of Thieves. Blending up-tempo with drag, and alternative rock with modest amounts of swagger, The Stone Eye has crafted a tune that is bursting at the seams with what best can be described as ferocious personality.
