Blood Incantation - Absolute Elsewhere (Ltd. Deluxe 3CD+Blu-ray Artbook)
Unavailable, limited delivery
Blood Incantation’s Absolute Elsewhere is unlike anything you’ve ever heard before. Few can claim a sonic watershed as readily as the Denver, Colorado quartet. At roughly 45 minutes, the two compositions that make up this album are as confounding as they are engaging in their scope, melding the 70's prog leanings of Tangerine Dream (whose Thorsten Quaesching appears on „The Stargate [Tablet II]”) with the deathly intent of Morbid Angel. Blood Incantation has already proven themselves, perfecting progressive death metal with 2019's Hidden History of the Human Race while branching out into exclusively synth-driven soundtrack territory with 2022's Timewave Zero. Now, with Absolute Elsewhere, which takes its title from the mid-70's prog collective (best known as a celestial stopover for King Crimson drummer, Bill Bruford), Blood Incantation are leaving the notion of genre behind and writing a new language for extreme music itself "Absolute Elsewhere“ is available as Ltd. Deluxe 3CD+Blu-ray Artbook, Ltd. CD Digipak, Gatefold black 180g LP & Poster, Ltd. Gatefold 180g transp. turquoise LP & Poster and Digital Album.
Cemetery Skyline - Nordic Gothic (black LP)
Unavailable, limited delivery
"Who would have wanted us to put together a new extreme metal band? Well, maybe someone indeed, but that is not the case this time, because there is something a little different on the plate..." The contemplative voice belongs to guitarist extraordinaire Markus Vanhala (Insomnium, Omnium Gatherum). In the new somber group, CEMETERY SKYLINE, Vanhala is joined by keyboardist Santeri Kallio (Amorphis), drummer Vesa Ranta (Sentenced, The Abbey), bassist Victor Brandt (Dimmu Borgir and many more) and singer Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquillity, The Halo Effect). "With CEMETERY SKYLINE, we're stepping into previously untrodden musical directions – those darker alleys that we hold dear in our hearts but haven't really wandered before. And we're collectively very excited!" One of the key words, goth, was already mentioned. "We all share a deep love for goth rock from the 80s and 90s - whether it's more synth-driven or heavier guitar-dominated stuff. You know the deal with the best bands from The Sisters of Mercy to Type O Negative", says Santeri Kallio, who shares songwriting duties with Vanhala. "But is CEMETERY SKYLINE a goth band? Maybe to an extent, but that's certainly not the whole story. If you have to describe CEMETERY SKYLINE's diverse music somehow, do us a favor and call us ambassadors of melodic, melancholic and dark rock. Thank you." The content of the band's lyrics is deeply buried in the dark gothic atmosphere. The concept written by Stanne – for the first time in his distinguished career Mikael uses clean vocals throughout the album – dives irresistibly into the paradoxical world of "northern solitude". "The lyrics are deeply rooted in the self-chosen solitary life of the Nordic people, their anti-social behavior and bleak sense of humor... When writing the lyrics, I took advantage of this feature of ours, which you could call the Scandinavian gothic lifestyle", says Stanne. “Nordic Gothic” is available as: Ltd. CD Digipak, 180g LP, and Digital album.

Hin helga kvöl (The Holy Suffering) is a profound exploration of raw emotion and stark beauty, deeply inspired by Sólstafir’s cultural heritage and Iceland's breathtaking landscapes. Sólstafir confronts inner demons and transcends rock and roll decadence, creating music that resonates with the universal struggle and triumph over hardship. Recorded at Flóki Studios in the remote Skagafjörður, Iceland, the change of scenery has profoundly influenced the album's atmosphere. Hin helga kvöl features eight tracks blending Sólstafir's signature melancholic sound with elements from their past, merging black metal roots with tuneful, anthemic rock. Reflecting on the album's title, Tryggvason shares: "We all suffer in life, and even nature suffers. It can be found in religion and spirituality as well. Hin helga kvöl means 'The Holy Suffering,' representing the struggle we all face." The album’s stunning cover art by Rowan E Cassidy, featuring charcoal shadows, perfectly illustrates the emotional depth and breathtaking altitudes of Hin helga kvöl. Follow Angelus Apatrida: https://www.angelusapatrida.com   / angelusapatrida     / angelusapatrida     / angelusapatrida      / angelusapatrida   --- Lyrics: Indoctrinate Moving like a leech Your talk smells like shit Another day in the office This ain’t gonna be the same In any fucking way Just give me a reason to take a break You’re making us more violent You’re trying all our patience Why always heading straight? Is it part of their game? That is what they have to say, don’t listen! Indoctrinate / through fear then / dominate Indoctrinate / one true faith / inculcate Predominate / strong voices will be heard Intoxicate / snake tongues to / indoctrinate Fuck what you preach Your dictatorial speech A bloody lesson to teach Here are your dogs to tame Walking the hall of fame Drudge of the aryan race Through noises we make silence By war our flag of guidance Wish all of them would die You’re motherfucking right This is what I have to say, listen! Indoctrinate / through fear then / dominate Intoxicate / snake tongues to / indoctrinate Time has come to fight, unearth what was lost As hatred (and) unreason are becoming one My breath, my soul, forget what you’ve learned And take back what’s ours once and for all Build it through destruction A new born paradigm A fire with old certainties Bringing a true solution From chaos to declare the Revolution Revolt! Revolution! Time has come to fight, unearth what was lost As hatred (and) unreason are becoming one My breath, my soul, forget what you’ve learned And take back what’s ours once and for all Once and for all! There are still thousands of enemies to tear apart Risk just comes with the territory Wasn’t this what you were asking for? This is all the moral of the story Inaction is a fate worse than death --- #AngelusApatrida #Indoctrinate #CenturyMedia
