We are Atavistia! An epic melodic death metal band from Vancouver, BC. There are blast beats, tremolo guitars, orchestrations, and dynamic vocals ranging from snarling black metal vocals to epic choir arrangements.As an independent band, we rely solely on our fan's contributions through merch and streaming.Why are we starting a Patreon?Unfortunately the music industry has changed over the past couple of decades. Streaming services have taken over while physical media and traditional outlets like touring have taken a terminal hit as a source of income. Due to this, we've decided to start a community where fans can directly support us to achieve our goal at becoming a self sustaining band.We're also heading out on our first European tour on Wednesday, October 11th, 2023 and it is a massive financial undertaking for an independent band. We'd really appreciate YOUR help to make tours like this a repeating reality! The more we receive, the more locations we can reach. Simple as that!
