🥀 NIGHT WEPT - LOW BEFORE THE BREEZE’S FIRST SINGLE OFF THEIR DEBUT ALBUM IS HERE! Atlanta is known for our diverse musical tastes. Low Before the Breeze is no exception to that within their extreme metal niche. Chaotic hardcore, blackened grind, blackgaze; take your pick, because there’s a lot to dissect in this one track. Truly a pained listening experience, LBTB dives head first into the traumas of being in a toxic marriage, and the dangerous mental breakdowns that can be the result of such toxicity. The chaotic, angular riff in the beginning is a direct representation of the angst and frustration that happens a result of fighting with a significant other… abruptly, the chaos transitions into a haunting, atmospheric spoken word passage before exploding into traumatizing blackened blast beats, and sludge ridden breakdowns.
